Something very special has launched in West Cumbria today and we're excited to be part of it.

LEVELS is an immersive education, esports and entertainment centre based in Whitehaven, which promises to open new worlds of opportunity for young people from across the local area.

We're excited to see this £4.6million project come to fruition after four years in the making.

And we're extra excited to have been asked to supply the espresso machine and grinders for the centre's cafe, along with training on them, and provide a continued supply of coffee.

The opportunities this new centre will provide for local young people are huge. For many people, travelling the world, or even the country, may be out of reach but the VR technology available at LEVELS allows them to be transported to places across the globe and beyond and will open up interactive opportunities to learn about so many different subjects.

The esports facilities also provide gamers with the chance to not only improve their gaming skills and compete but also build valuable transferable skills such as teamwork and problem solving.

As a business, we've always worked hard to support the farmers who grow our coffees, helping them wherever possible to develop their productivity, skills and livelihoods. We're excited to be involved in a project that is doing something similar, in its own way, in our local community.
